4-6 chili peppers
Poblano
Serrano
Jalapeno

Cooking spray (oil)

Cut tops off of peppers to remove the stem. Remove seeds if you prefer.
Lightly spray peppers with oil and place them in an air fryer basket.
Cook at 400 for 6 minutes, watching closely. The top side should begin to blacken slightly. Turn and cook for another 6 minutes or until charred on all sides.
Remove and, while wearing gloves, rub off the charred skin. Do not touch your face or eyes.
Cut lengthwise to flatten and remove additional seeds if desired.
Note: you can also do this using an open flame on a gas range.
